Margie is passionate about working with clients to create a deeper awareness of themselves as well as a stronger sense of self, that ultimately leads to more fulfilling relationships.
Margie has experience working with infidelity, conflicting/avoidant couples, pre-marital couples, parenting, older couples, and life changes/stages. She creates a grounded, nurturing space for her clients and is immediately relatable, bringing years of experience and wisdom to her work.

Margie’s passion for working with couples extends into working with adult families and blended/stepfamilies. Her training as well as lived experience in these areas enables her to assist clients to navigate through the sometimes tricky complexities that come with these relationships.
Margie works systemically and is informed by the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, the Gottman Method, Family Systems Theory, Solution Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.

Margie's focus when working with clients is to create a safe, respected and trusting relationship by being empathetic, curious and committed to the therapeutic process. Holding this space allows her to support her client’s capacity for self-awareness, decision-making, resilience and integrity.
Margie specialises in helping couples identify and focus on replacing unhealthy interactional patterns and behaviours with healthier, more connected ways of being together. She supports individuals and couples in understanding how their own individual growth and development is key to richer and more fulfilling relationships.
